Southern Storm Volleyball Club

“Volleyball is one of the most interactive games going.
It is a game of intuition, imagination, improvisation – but most of all, of reciprocity – of teamwork.

Bringing More Volleyball to Southern Manitoba

Southern Storm Volleyball was formed in response to the interest in participating in youth volleyball in Altona and the surrounding area. Altona also hosts a range of social volleyball leagues and groups,
and it is our hope to create opportunities and experiences for
Southern Manitobans to get involved and enjoy the sport!

Southern Storm Volleyball Club acknowledges that we are guests meeting on land that has been inhabited by Indigenous peoples since time immemorial. We further acknowledge we are based in Treaty 1, and gather on the ancestral lands and traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and on the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.

We are grateful for the opportunity to meet here and we thank all the generations of people who have taken care of this land that have come before us. Southern Storm Volleyball Club is committed to the journey of moving forward in a spirit of truth, reconciliation and collaboration.
